Almost 30 miles west of San Francisco, Concord's population grew as people moving to the Bay Area found it a suitable option to crowded San Francisco. As a result, Concord - and several other East Bay cities - grew to accommodate the new arrivals. Because of its central location, Concord acts as an excellent launching point to San Francisco, Sacramento and Napa, Sonoma and Silicon valleys. As of 2011, there were five nightclubs available in Concord.
Vinnie's Bar
Vinnie's Bar (vinniesbar.com) serves up drinks, snacks with an international flare and music six nights a week. Pull on your boots Tuesdays for Country Night, rock out Wednesdays with Jam Night or bring on the spice Thursdays for Salsa Night. Live bands perform every Friday and Saturday night. Open for breakfast and lunch, the club comes alive after sundown, when you can nibble on fried pickles, pizza, Thai wings and jalapeno poppers between cocktails and dancing on the dance floor.
Agave Grill
Agave Grill (agavegrill.com) features spacious private booths and bottle service. With two full-service bars, you can choose between the Latin House room - featuring salsa, rock en Espanol and meringue - and a room playing rhythm and blues, rock and house music. The club is available for private parties as well. In addition to the night club, Agave Grill has a large dining room serving authentic, gourmet quality Mexican food. During your meal, you can enjoy the many pieces of fine Mexican folk art that adorn the dining room.
